This article reports on the work of a multidisciplinary group of experts who met at the initiative of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences(NIEHS) in August 2015 to examine all the aspects of a new hypothesis of carcinogenesis likely to deeply modify our conception of the risks of chemical exposure.
