The Comptoir des Minéraux et Matières Premières (CMMP) was a factory in Aulnay-sous-Bois in the Paris region that ground asbestos for almost 40 years, causing environmental pollution. Since 1997, when a resident died from non-occupational mesothelioma, the family and then a group of associations have continued to alert the local authorities to publicize the existence of this pollution and its health consequences.

From 2008 to 2014, this public health issue was one of the top priorities for the town of Aulnay-sous-Bois. This report describes the actions taken to dismantle the factory and depollute the site, and the establishment of an asbestos steering committee to find and care for the victims and ensure that these people are not forgotten.
