(1) Yes, there are some signs that may predict whether a seizure originates from the temporal lobe or the frontal lobe.

 

(2) Emotional facial expression, facial flushing, facial contraction, bilateral forceful elbow flexion, and bilateral grasping are more frequent in seizures of frontal lobe origin.

 

(3) Oroalimentary automatisms, occurrence during wakefulness, salivation, and dropping of the corners of the mouth were more frequent in seizures of temporal lobe origin.
