Peripheral nerve block (PNB) anaesthesia is preferable to general and lumbar anaesthesia because it is less invasive [1]. Ultrasound guidance is very helpful for PNB in the lower limb [2, 3]. We have performed ultrasound-guided PNB for resection operations of malignant skin tumours on the leg and sentinel lymph node biopsies (SLNBs).
