We present a case of a 50-year-old woman who presented with two black eschars and perilesional erythema on the right shoulder and left thigh which she had for the past 10 days (figure 1A, B). She had headaches and febrile episodes of up to 38.5 °C and subsequently associated lymphangitis in a skin lesion on her thigh (figure 1C).
