A healthy 55-year-old patient presented with a two-month history of a protuberant recurrent bleeding growth on his right leg. Clinical examination revealed a solitary well circumscribed nodule of 2 cm diameter. The tumour showed a pedunculated, polypoid-like silhouette and was covered by thickened epidermis forming multiple fibrous septae crossing an inflammatory nodule (figure 1A).
