A 24-year-old man presented with a one-year history of recurrent itchy annular erythematous lesion on the back. Two weeks ago, the lesion began to appear as a single erythematous lesion with some papules, which then expanded centrifugally. An annulus with hyperpigmentation then developed in the centre (figure 1A). The ring of the annular lesion was composed of papules and erythema (figure 1B).
