A 35-year old man consulted for recurrent urticarial lesions on his face, neck and abdomen. Close examination of the skin revealed folliculitis on the face and an erythematous plaque on the abdomen. The lesions were associated with pain, pruritus and a burning sensation, which significantly affected his quality of life.
