Alopecia areata (AA) develops rather often in individuals with Down syndrome (DS), whereas psoriasis appears to occur less frequently in this cytogenetic disorder [1-3]. We report an adult man with DS and severe AA of the scalp, showing conspicuous hair growth limited to plaques of active psoriasis.A 30-year-old man with DS was referred to us for evaluation of skin problems.
