Primary cutaneous cryptococcosis (PCC) is caused by inoculation of Cryptococcus into the skin, which is the only organ or tissue affected [1]. Because PCC is rare, the effectiveness of surgical debridement in combination with antifungal drug therapy in PCC remains unclear.
