Propylthiouracil (PTU) is a widely used anti-thyroid agent. PTU has been reported to cause anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis [1]. Cutaneous manifestations of PTU-induced ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV) are similar to those of idiopathic AAV [2], such as microscopic polyangiitis.
