Lichen nitidus is characterized by asymptomatic, glossy skin-coloured papules. It most commonly occurs on the extremities, abdomen and anogenital areas (penis) in children and young people [1]. Some cases of involvement such as the dorsal surface of the tongue, hard and soft palates, and gum with or without generalized lichen nitidus have been reported [2-7].
