Permanent eyebrow makeup (PEMU) is a cosmetic tattoo involving intradermal injection of colourants by piercing the skin with needles, as for traditional tattoos [1, 2]. Although PEMU can cause several adverse reactions, similar to traditional tattoos, the risks are not fully known.
