A 58-year-old patient presented with a 7-mm infiltrative basal cell carcinoma (BCC) of the skin on the left eyebrow (figure 1A). The tumour was removed using micrographic surgery, resulting in a 1.1-cm wide defect (figure 1B). For reconstruction, an island pedicle flap was performed, with V-Y closure (figure 1C).
