A 16-year-old Japanese female visited our hospital on 2012. She had noticed asymptomatic erythema on her cheeks about 4 years previously. Other similar lesions gradually appeared on the cheeks without centrifugal spreading, showing an annular distribution. Physical examination identified annular indurated erythema on the bilateral cheeks (figure 1A). She had no other symptoms. Complete blood cell counts were within normal limits.
