A 28-year-old Japanese man noticed red nodules on his forearms and legs in 2010. Spontaneous regression and recurrence of the nodules followed repeatedly. Physical examination revealed an approximately 3-cm-sized red-purple necrotic nodule on his left foot and a scar on his left ankle (figures 1A, B).
