At present, hydroquinone, retinoic acid, and vitamin C are some of the mainstream treatment options for hyperpigmentation dermatitis [1]. These agents interfere with melanin synthesis, resulting in reduced pigmentation. As many Asian women seek a lighter skin colour, numerous whitening agents are available, some of which include such depigmentation agents.
