Summary : Infectious mononucleosis is a common and benign disease. Although hepatic cytolysis is common during infectious mononucleosis, fulminant hepatitis is rare. We report an observation of a fatal fulminant hepatitis complicating a primary EBV infection in a 15 year-old male.
