Impact of the climate on the Nfefikh estuary (Moroccan Atlantic Meseta)

Science et changements planétaires / Sécheresse. Volume 15, Number 4, 361-5, OCTOBRE-NOVEMBRE-DÉCEMBRE 2004, Étude de cas

Résumé   Article gratuit

Author(s) : Ouadia Tazi, Mohammed Loutfi, Felando Pablo Casanovas, Abdelilah Fahde

Summary : The perturbation of the biocenose is not only the consequence of anthropic actions. Natural factors such as the climate can lead to the destructuration and even to the destruction of aquatic populations whose resistance and adaptation capacities have become weaker. Facing inappropriate ecological conditions for aquatic populations, the Nfefikh hydrosystem shows an imbalance of zooplanktonic and zoobentic communities during summer drainage.

Keywords : Climatology, Biodiverstiy, Hydrography, Aquatic Ecosystem
