Summary : The new international nomenclature used to name the races of Plasmopara halstedii, agent of the downy mildew of the sunflower, applied to the French races makes it possible to re-appoint them in the following way : Race 1 = Race 100, Race A = Race 710, Race B = Race 703, Race C = Race 700 and Race D = Race 300.
