Summary : Times have changed. Technological science now constitutes a power the usage of which is based on numerous decisions concerning all of society. One of the conditions underlying the democratic use of this decision-making process is the production and diffusion of scientific knowledge to help us clarify our choices on the basis of their anticipated effects on the future. |
