This book, covering south-west France, is the first in a series on potentially allergenic pollinating plants in different parts of France.
All over the country, allergy specialists are testing their patients with allergenic extracts derived from the same raw materials. However, it is vital to take local circumstances into account where pollen allergies are concerned.
That is why the authors decided to tackle the subject of allergenic grasses region by region, in order to encourage direct observation at local level.
This book lists the allergenic grasses in the form of botanical data sheets, giving the family, habitat, geographical distribution (with maps) and pollinisation period. A clear description of the plant along with photographs and drawings are also included.
